Hybrid battery pack
Are the hybrid battery packs interchangeable between the 2007 and 2009? I'm having an issue with my 2009 and cannot find a reasonably priced replacement. Can anyone help me?

2007 Vue, assume green line. 2009 just referred to as hybrid https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sat...a21acdf69b.png https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sat...89af449d62.png Parts listing in middle of page. Note that descriptions next to other components state for Malibu, aura,... Not the Vue https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sat...2536640a3e.png Supposed battery for Vue Green Line https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sat...e1bca5e69a.png Fitment shows only 2007 Green line Vue ------- 2009 Vue The 2009 Vue is a second generation Vue. 2007 was first generation. Many many changes. Fitment information is confusing. Lists the other battery pack configuration that was originally listed seemingly only for the Malibu. I've included the main page and the fitment for the part in question. The table shows it appears in both the 2007 and 2009. However, the first part I specified above shows only a fit for 2007. I know nothing about hybrid battery packs. Maybe they did away with the need for the first one I specified for the later models. Then it becomes a question of which one do you need in the 2007 to be replaced? The correct answer to this is waiting for you at your local Chevrolet dealer. Bring in your VIN number and they can give you information much faster and much more accurately than I can. Even if the parts are discontinued, you can determine what the correct part numbers are for what you need. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sat...6f1a2d2ba5.png https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sat...319bc11be6.png Supposed battery pack for 2009. Also appeared in 2007 search label as for Malibu https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sat...c85c88b469.png Fitment indicating 2007 and 2009 use this part. Does not appear part specified for 2007 above is used in 2009. |
2007 Vue Green Line hybrid battery replacement
Does anyone know who can supply pn 2096066 batteries new/reconditioned/good used?
|
I think you're missing a digit in the part number
|
Please forgive the typo, pn 20960900.
Thanks! |
Any update
Hello I also have a 07 green line hybrid that the battery is now bad. It can't start back up on the auto stop/start with the hybrid battery so uses the 12V normal start up and then codes about the coolant pump and starting system. Disconnect the hybrid battery and all problems gone. So can ONLY an 07 fit an 07 then correct? You find a
"Reasonable" price one? I seen a Few online for $650 but it fits other models and looks like the auxiliary fan plug for the battery is also different. You find a page that rebuilds them instead of just pulling and selling? |
Long gone...dunno
