I depressed mine to use..and it stuck. Can I "pop" out the air deflector to the right to access it. I am hoping the spring is simply broken. THX. '04 VUE

 

The cover over the center section easily pops off. It is held in with clips. I do not recall but I think there are a couple of Phillips head screws on the bottom which are accessible by popping up the power window switch assembly around the shifter. This will give you access to the emergency flasher switch. just gently pull back the retaining clips which hold the large switch assembly in the cover. See if the switch is actually stuck or if it was just stuck on the lip of the cover. If the switch is actually stuck it might loosen up with a "little" bit of WD40. work it back and forth till it works properly. If that doesn't work your in the market for a new switch.
