There are the regulars.
And then there are those who post questions.
Some post questions along with presumed solutions.
Are they right? Sometimes. Sometimes not.

Some of the regulars have had different life experiences.
Some know more about polymer physics than anyone really needs to.

Others can diagnose vehicles' problems in their sleep. At least have quite a hunch. The testing confirms or denies the hypothesis.

Some of us don't necessarily know how or what to test in every situation.

Expecting others to think in parallel w you isn't always reasonable. Most don't have the experience to follow the same neural pathways

Suggesting testing helps the OP.
Suggesting testing helps the regulars.
