Default 2008 Vue XE FWD: Where to measure level surface

Does anyone know where (interior or exterior) on the body of the 08 Saturn Vue I could place a bubble level to measure for the vehicle being leveled? My driveway where I plan to do some repairs is on an incline and need to get the car leveled. But I'm not sure what surface on the car I could put a bubble level to get a reading.

I would be more concerned about where on the vehicle I'm working that needs to be level then with finding some spot that is elsewhere on the vehicle that will not respond with the same sensitivity as the level measured near the area where you were working.

If you need to check something like the transmission fluid level coming out of the overflow/fill hole, then you want the entire vehicle to be essentially level. I would think with stock wheels that the height from the bottom of the door trim to the ground could be measured near the front and rear wheel, and after you take a wheel off, you lower the vehicle with a floor jack until that height is restored.

So why it is you are measuring level is just as important as choosing where to measure it
