Trying to help an elderly friend with her saturn. Let me list the details as it is complicated.
She ran over an embankment to avoid an accident. The oil pan was punctured with shrapnel. GEICO provided a used engine. Was installed by a local GM dealer. Engine stalled 4 times on first drive. Dealer replaced the starter and alternator. SES light stays on due to evap solenoid code, stalled again on 2nd drive. On 3rd trip to dealer, had service mgr ride on test drive and of course, it would not stall on 10 mile run. Dealer found damaged wiring harness at rear of vehicle but did not specify what harness was out. GEICO is done so next repair needs to be spot on. Any suggestions? ECU? ECM? batteries? battery drive motor? Any help is appreciated.

I would request that Geico reopen the claim, sounds like the dealer and the claims people are related. Fix or replace the vehicle! This is what I would expect from my insurance company.
