This is my kid's car and recently the ignition turns off but won't turn all the way to off position for key removal. Some jiggling and whiting a few times in/out of park seems to eventually let the key turn all the way off.
Some posts possibly showing grease build up in the shift mechanism is a possible culprit.
Any suggestions on resolution would be appreciated.
Can I just remove the center console and loosen a few bolts to removal the gear selector assembly ?
