I have an 06 Vue (inline 4 ecotech) and a viofo dash cam. Viofo offers a hardwire kit that will shut off the dashcam if it detects that the voltage drops below whatever you've set it to. This hardwire kit also automatically puts the dashcam in park mode when you turn the vehicle off. For it to function properly, you have to tap into a fuse that's only on when the car is on and a fuse that's on all the time. I've had a hard time locating which fuses are which. All the fuse maps I've found online don't list whether the fuses are always on or not.
