Whats to Come
I always wished I could be spending time with someone when I repair my Saturn, even if they just learn everything I am doing. I do all the work myself and sometimes I have help but just to hand me tools. They are not one to learn about what I am doing.
So now that I am a member here, I have a reason to take photos of all I do for more than just memories. Who knows, maybe one photo might help someone with their Saturn, maybe it will just be to enjoy. Either way, that will make me happy.
I do have one question, does anybody know where I can get high quality gaskets and etc to rebuild my TBI throttle body? I can live without the injection pressure regulator and the main gasket in the kit because those exist to buy, but I can't find good parts for the rest. That would be a fun project to do!
With over 160K miles we have put on it, the Saturn has never received the care it needed. I wouldn't be surprised if the throttle body has never even been touched by anyone in it's long hard life of over 300K miles.
Comeing soon: What's in my fuel filter that's been through 180K miles! (Yes that's bad, if I was in control, because this was a relatives before mine, we would have been through tons of filters already.)

In general, Rockauto.com seems to have the best prices across the board while letting you choose betw ecomonly (value) but usually still decent quality, better quality, and top quality.
Didn't check for your TBI but Autozozne has
GP Sorensen/Throttle Body Rebuild Kit (TBI) 96-710 at AutoZone.com
which appears to have a whole bunch of o rings, gaskets, and other things. Prob not the high quality you're looking for -- just letting you know its out there

I honestly don't know, as I don't recognize alot of the brand names for the lower cost parts or those listed as "economy". If I have questions, I'll google "Airtex Wells PCV" to find out the general consensus on THAT product made by THAT manufacturer. Sometimes I'm surprised by the great feedback on 1 product vs the nasty feedback on another (same mfr.) In real life though, this is likely true, as every company can't be the best at making everything......
So it's part by part.....gotta do your homework
