I tested this car on carfax and documents she says that there are 130 hp. As well as the rear of the car is written: "Twin Cam". And they are equipped with different transmissions?

In Russia, the biggest problem with spare parts for this car. Everything has to be ordered from the United States, with the current dollar exchange rate parts are located on a large sum. One rear window Used worth 500$. I go on it that would stand out from the monotonous stream of cars) And in general I like American cars. My dream is Pontiac Firebird Trans AM 3gn but price in russia on this car 1992 y. order 7000$ and this not very nice condition.

I used to have a Chrylser Laser XE with a 2.2 turbo-charged engine and a five speed manual transmission. The transmission in it took automatic transmission fluid, as do all of the manual shift Dodge Daytonas of the 80's era. Mine was an 84. First year they came out. So, it's not unusual for manufacturers to use atf in a manual shift. I guess it's a viscosity thing. I don't know.

If you could just post a picture, we can tell you. Here are pictures of both the SOHC and the DOHC from 1992. Which one does yours look like? If it's the solid valve cover, it's the SOHC. If it's the split one, it's the DOHC.

If it says twin cam on the rear reflector it is indeed an SL2 DOHC.
I owned a 92 SL2 DOHC myself, many years ago.
124HP---not sure where 130 came from

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR SIGNATURE and add the mileage. Thank you.

The transmissions for the DOHCs were geared lower than the SOHCs for a sportier driving experience (at the expense of fuel economy. It is a different transmission model (officially).

Tell your friends it is quite common for cars in the US to use ATF in their manual transmissions.

Hell, most power steering fluid is ATF; most hydraulic clutch fluids (automobiles) are DOT3/DOT4 brake fluid.

The fluid has the properties needed for the application...that's just the way it is.
_________

Spare parts: Are you talking "new" parts purchased from GM, or used parts found in junkyards? Either way that's expensive!!!!
________

For your information:

I have a paperback copy of the 1991-1993 Chilton's Manual for the Saturn S Series cars. If you need any model/year specific (92) information including wiring diagram information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

In Russian documents on the car that it says: SL1. But it is precisely Twin cam. https://www.saturnforum.com/forum/me...-sl1-1992-210/ photos.

SL2 all the way. 200%

Get it fixed by the motor vehicle people on the title (document that shows you own the car). Otherwise if you go to sell it, the VIN and CARFAX will show it as an SL1, and the title will be what we call in America an "imperfect title". And you'll need to have it fixed before you can sell it. At which time you may lose your buyer because they can't wait around for the clean title to be generated.

The auto insurance rate you are paying is also dependent on the model so just another reason to get it fixed as well.

Thx for help! How much you will be difficult to add a Manual for the Saturn SL2 electronically. This is very valuable information for not only me in Russian) We have no one here knows how to do similarity collapse on them, because services have no information.

See

1992 Saturn SL2 Auto Repair Manual - ChiltonDIY

It is available for purchase in the US and Puerto Rico -- meaning you could not order it from Russia. The order would have to come from inside the US.

Then I'm not sure if it would look at your IP address if you tried to access it by logging in fr Russia. plus it has a yearly access fee.

I could not locate any official Chilton CDs

I tweaked your sig a bit
