Default What!?!?! Another Saturn???

Yup, another Saturn! I had a gorgeous 1983 Lincoln Mark VI, the last big classic Mark that Ford made, but it just wasn't practical enough for what I need now. I sold it , but found a very nice 2002 Saturn 4 door SL1 with only 97k miles on it. It must have been garaged most of the time, judging from the way it looks. It's funny; all that luxury in that Mark VI to practically nothing in the SL1, except for the A/C and the CD player in the radio. Good thing I'm from an era when we knew how to put the windows up and down without a button! No power seats, no power anything except the steering. But HEY! I really like the thing! PLUS- for my money it looks a whole lot nicer than that ugly front on that LW300 we have!
I mentioned the aluminum shield banging on the LW300. I have the same issue with this SL1. Crazy, but I still love this car! Take a look at the pics and see for yourself. YEA for me!

That's a good looking S series you've got there... I sometimes miss my old one...

Thank you! I like that color a lot. I have a 1982 Gold Wing Interstate that is just about that color, too. Honda told me several years ago that it was their most popular color.

When you only spend $20 to fill the tank, then you realize that A/C and a CD player are the only things you need. I've upgraded my stereo to one with a USB port, and haven't given any new car a second look since.

My thinking exactly, Dave. That's why the big ol' Mark VI has new home.
