Default Torn Intermediate Steering Shaft boot

I'm looking for a replacement GM part #21012228. It's the boot that bolts on the firewall by 3 bolts, covering the intermediate steering shaft {universal joint?} to the rack and pinion. It's for a 99' saturn sl2.

I wonder if anyone has run into this problem and was able to make something work? I know there's junk yards, I might try that, but I'll sooner try zip-tie and whatever I can fit over it

Thanks all

I would wrap it and install.

Wrap it? What're we talking, fitting a rubber hose around it? That doesn't sound like a bad idea

Maybe zip tie a piece of leather around it?

I'd be concerned about the leather getting skanky with oyster and absorbs.

Let's face it, nobody likes a skanky intermediate shaft
