Hi: I have a 1999 saturn SL2, 1.9,twin camb with blown transmission.


I can get a used one, good condition and low miles, but is from same engine on SL1.


My question is: SL1 transmission will fit in my SL2?. Is any diference between the transmissions that I should know?

 

if the used trans is a 1999 and the sl1 was a twin cam i would think they should match up. i always thought the sl1 was a single overhead cam and the sl2 was the daul cam but i might be wrong. i think the transmission of the daul overhead cam is geared a little more sporty but it should match
