Default SL2 Cut off while Driving

1998 Saturn SL2 cut off while driving, would not restart. You can hear a relay clicking in the fuse box but not a sound at the starter. Replaced relay still no start. Engine will not turn over Any ideas of where to go from here. Thanks for any help I can get.

I would see if you can turn the engine over by hand, with a wrench on the crank bolt.

I agree with Andy. But the first thing you should do is check and make sure you have oil in the crank case. If you have oil and can turn it by hand, try tapping the starter with a hammer. The bendix might be hanging up on it, if it's a high mileage car with the original starter.

That clicking is the fuel pump relay closing to prime the fuel system, then opening.
So you have at least some current flowing from the battery (meaning only that the battery is still connected.

By all means check your oil and let us know where it is on the dipstick.
Did the OIL dash light come on at any point before it shut off?
