I was wondering which would be better on gas, an SL1 with AT or an SL2 with manua transmission. What can I expect in say, 1998 or 1999 years? I am asking because I cannot seem to find an SL1 with manual tansmission.

Thanks

well with a manual transmission, its all about how you drive it. But normally if you drive a manual correctly, you should be able to get alittle better mileage

Well, with a manual or an automatic, your milage very much depends on how you drive it. The EPA says 27/36 for the automatic SL1. v. 25/35 for the manual SL2

I have a manual SL1 (it was quite hard to find) and regularly see over 40 on the highway, and 32-35 in everyday driving
