Default saturnbushingman on eBay IS in business 2/2025

Hi all, new to here from SaturnFans.

Recently had my 2002 SC2's shifter bushing out and ordered from saturnbushingman. No shipment and no reply after several days.
Wondering if he's still in business and if anyone has a number to give him a call. Thanks!

Totally unlike him. I've interacted with him three times over the years He has given me multiple free parts of his kits due to my own idiocy.

His eBay store is still alive

Saturnbushingman Ebay Store

I will reach out to him and get back to you.

Well, I reached out or at least I tried...

No response through eBay email and I don't have another contact for him.

The guy has 100% feedback over 25 years.
He's a stand-up guy and certainly not a crook.

I believe he was retired when he started making the parts in 2000 so he may be up in years and potentially suffering from health problems. That would be my logical conclusion.

Unfortunately, he does not seem to have been able to communicate to anyone the details of the eBay store, because I know he would have shut it down had he been able to or had someone do it for him.

I will follow up with eBay Central to see what can be done before people start trashing his seller reputation. It may not matter to him, but he has served the Saturn community selflessly for 25 years, and I think his store should close that way. And of course getting his store closed down will avoid other people placing orders to which there is never a response.

Okay I cannot find a way for me to pursue this with eBay because I did not order the item. Below are directions to try to resolve this with the help of eBay.

Again, this is not like Jerry, whose first name I remembered and is on the directions for use. Please do not trash his feedback. I looked and he has received zero negative feedbacks and one neutral in about 3,800 sales.

------

If you're trying to contact an eBay seller whose store is still open but they aren't responding to your messages, you should try reaching out through the eBay messaging system again, clearly stating your concern about the lack of response and asking them to address your inquiry as soon as possible; if that doesn't work, you can escalate the issue by opening a case with eBay customer service to request assistance in contacting the seller and potentially get a resolution regarding your purchase.

Here's how to proceed:
  • Send another message:
Go to your purchase history on eBay, find the item you're interested in, and send a polite but firm message to the seller, reminding them that you haven't received a response and requesting a prompt reply.
  • Include details:
In your message, clearly state the issue you're facing, the date you sent your initial message, and any relevant order details like the item number or purchase date.
  • Wait a reasonable time:
Give the seller a few business days to respond before taking further action.
  • Contact eBay customer service:
If you still haven't received a response after a few days, go to the eBay help center and open a case with customer service, explaining the situation and requesting their intervention.

Important points to remember:
  • Check your spam folder:
Occasionally, seller messages might end up in your spam folder, so check there before assuming they haven't responded.
  • Review the seller's feedback:
Check the seller's feedback profile to see if other buyers have experienced similar issues with communication.
  • Consider alternative options:
If the issue remains unresolved, you might need to explore options like canceling your order and finding a different seller for the same item.

Hang in there. It is possible he shipped them. Our local TV station (Louisville, KY) is doing stories about the main post office here. They have packages that were mailed six months ago that have not been delivered. Whistleblowers say they have no idea when they will even get around to sorting these packages (I joked with my mother that at least those Christmas fruitcakes won't get any worse, because they can't get any worse). Broken forklifts all over the place inside the building. And they have FIFTY TRAILERS full of mail plus more in an "overflow lot". Even first-class mail and large or padded envelopes are late. I just paid a late fee to my natural gas utility FOR THE SECOND MONTH IN A ROW. So I set up auto-pay.

I was lucky, my shifter bushing failed when I put the stick in "R" to park in the company's parking lot. So I called a tow truck, and bought a set for both of my stickshift SL2s. I am SO glad it did not fail in the fast lane of the freeway.

I hope you get the parts you need.

Hi just to update: saturnbushingman shipped my order after about a week so totally fine. Stuck with eBay international for about a month (not SBM's fault) and today it's installed. Super easy and perfect fix.
