Ok Here's the deal. I went to put a new lighter in the saturn. the fuse box sparked. There are no blown fuses, but the car won't start now. It just cranks. Like the fuel pump is not sending fuel. If I spray starting fluid it will start. What could be the issue. Please help asap.

 

With the key in the run position,probe the fuel pump fuse and make sure it is hot on both sides. Can you hear the fuel pump?

 

No you can not hear the fuel pump.

 

check fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay

 

Are you getting juice to the fuse? Does the car have any flood history?

Hmmm ... might have found his problem, and just forgot to tell us...

 

Yes it is fixed. Have not had much time to be online lately. Been very busy with moving. Thanks for your input guys.
