I have a 1994 SL2 with the 1.9 dohc engine with the automatic trans. and would like to know what years of saturns the motor and transmission will fit and if they fit what do I need to change to make them work? (intake, exaughst ?)your help would be great

1993-1994 are a direct drop in.1995-2002 will work with minor modification and will depend on weather you have California emissions or not.
As for transmissions, only a 1993 or 1994 automatic will work.Edited by: sw2cam

 

hi again, The car does not have california emissions and I want to install the engine in 1996 SL2 so can you tell me what modifications I need to make so this will work?

Are the trackers you're talking about that annoying text that keeps showing up at the beginning and/or end of some posts? Something with Google in it? I've been noticing that on my posts. I have no idea what it is and it happens no matter what computer I'm using at the time. If this is it, you might want to look into this further before you start blocking people from the site for something that is not their fault.

You will need to install the head from the 1994 engine onto the 1996 block.
