Default S-Series GEN 3 Automatic- Shift Interlock Solenoid video needed

I need a video on how to test the connections and replace the Shift Interlock Solenoid on an automatic 2001 SL1 SOHC. I’ve searched everywhere, including Chilton and YouTube, for help testing & replacing the part. For the life of me, I can’t find a video that breaks down how to test the connections and the shift interlock solenoid on an automatic, specifically on a Gen 3 Saturn S- series. I’m a visual learner, but the diagram in Chilton left me just as confused.

Can someone post a video on how to troubleshoot the Shift Interlock Solenoid?
I also need to see the best way to remove the solenoid without breaking anything under the shifter. There are some plastic parts under there, and we all know that moving old plastic in the wrong direction can cause it to break. Plastic tends to get brittle over time. Someone, please consider making a video and posting the link.I know someone here must have a YouTube channel. I haven't found any on Richpin’s playlist.
I want to learn how to test the solenoid, and how to remove it without breaking the plastic ends on the solenoid and under the shifter. I also wonder if the issue could be in the plastic area under the shifter, or if something under the shifter is getting stuck and needs some lubrication, or both. I know most people will probably say just disconnect it. I dont want to just disconnect the solenoid and just leave it disconnected. I feel that is just ignoring the issue and I tend to be clumsy. I rather tackle the issue. Also, all safety features have a purpose. I don't want to remove the safety. I want to fix it and have it work the way it should. I would greatly appreciate the person that takes moment and show it done. It may also prove to be helpful to others that may be experiencing similar issue.

So far, I know the issue is somewhere under the shifter. The safety feature intermittently doesn’t recognize that the shifter is in Park, the key won’t turn from ACC to OFF. I read that it’s most likely the shift interlock safety feature. If I tap forward on the gear shifter a little, while it’s already in the ‘Park’ position, or wiggle it, something will finally click and allow the key to release. I removed the shifter console. I don't see, or feel the connections, or anything loosened or disconnected.

I don’t have any other issues with the shifter, or the ignition cylinder. the break shift ( foot)seems fine. The break lights turn on and off as they should. I can turn the car on without a problem, and I can move the shift through all gears without any issues.
The gear does not move out of Park unless I depress the breaks as it should. UNLESS... the issue is happening and the key doesn't turn to off position because the car is not recognizing the shifter is in Park position. . Only then can I shift out of park without pressing the brakes. The problem is occasionally when I park my car and I’m about to turn it off. The key suddenly won’t release until I jiggle the shifter in Park or move the shifter through all other positions, then back to Park. It was random at first, and now it is happening more often. According to Chilton, it’s related to the BTSI safety.

Default Update with solution

I never received a response to this message from anyone on this forum. All my resources stated, I needed to replace the shift interlock solenoid. I finally resolved the issue without replacing anything!!! Let me leave this here in case this helps someone. Parts are getting scarce. We need to try to help each other out to keep these cars on the road.
Solution: I lubricated the parts. I tried different lubes, but most only lasted a few days before I had to reapply. Eventually, found Blaster Industrial Strength Silicone Lubricant, it has been several months and the issue has not reoccured. Yay!!!
