Default Radio issue

Well, long story short, someone ripped the radio out of my girlfriends sl2. They cut all of the wires, factory plug included. I got a plug from a junk yard today. Wired it in. Got the adapter for the new stereo and hooked it up. It didn't work. What could they have pulled out? There isn't any power. Checked the fuse,it wasn't blown. Radio fuse was good. EVen hard wired radio to another battery,it worked too. If I can't track down the issue, how can I wire it in?

What year SL2, and was it the "standard" radio, or the "deluxe" version?

You hard wired it and it worked - was that with the speakers in the car, or test speakers? Perhaps they took speakers too.

Standard radios had two different fuses -- delux radios required three ...

If it had an aftermarket radio in it already, the color code may have already been corrupted.

Still need the year/model befor I can specify the respective fuse(s)

OK -

The yellow wire goes to the RADIO fuse (10A) on the Instrument Panel Junction Block (IPJB). The orange wire goes to the CHIME fuse (10A), also on the (IPJB). The Black wire connects to Ground(chassis).

The BRN wire and the DK GRN wires go to the interior light system. The rest of the wires are for the speakers.....
