The mrs. has a 98 sw2. When you drive, there is a strong smell of rotten egg. The harder you drive, the worse it gets. This normal????? Does this need O2 sensor or cat?

I figured... I tested O2 sensors today, they are working fine. I am going to dump the cat on saturday and have a look. I had a mechanic friend of mine tell me that this is normal for saturn, thus the reason I was askin'.... Just goes to show you, not all mechanics are good. Sometimes it is just good to have some good 'ol common sense!!!!

BTW... You guys ever use ceterforce clutchesfor these things? If not, what do you suggest?I have been tinkering with the engine, made a cold air industion system for it, etc... got some spunk now......

I always use either Hays or Centerforce. I mostly work with large engines and have never had a problem with them running 500-600 ft lb of torque. I am yet to replace one in my saturn.
