hello, i got a few questions im looking to get answered and well i hope im at the right spot. i am a proud owner of a 95 sl1 5sp ever since the year it was born, my car is showing its age alot lately not to mention the 325k miles on the engine. im looking to replace the engine as well as alot of work done to it, id like to beef it up and id like to really know what would be a good older engine i can stick in it and is it possible to put an engine with an est 121 to 134 cubic in. in place of the block i have now that is only a 116 cu in. if not what are other suggestions on how to keep my lil baby alive and running well. id like to beef it up to round 225-250 hp if possible but like i said im lookin for some answers good or bad or what not

Kind of interesting....my first thoughts of upgrading were more suspension-oriented than motor...got plenty of charge but not enough handling and stopping power to get serious at all...

yea the suspention, trany, rims, clutch, fly wheel, pistions, cams, computer, exhaust system, encluding a body kit and new paint job to a slightly darker shade than the gold/champain color it is now, i have 4 piston calapers sitting at the foot of my bed along with the body kit in my car and 8 pints of paint to get me started but i cant do much till i find an engine. i want to put the engine from a redline in its not much bigger than what i have now so alot is going to be changed under the hood. man some days i wish i had less expencive hobbies i liked to do lol

I have seen SW2's from previous years that had disc rear brakes, I always thought that would be a good first upgrade for my buggy...
