Hit all new to page and just bought a 1994 SL2 Homecoming Edition and have a couple questions?

Firstly did a shade come with car for the sunroof?
Second after driving for five minutes the abs light pops on?
Third the odometer does not work?
If anyone can give me some quick insight to the above on fixes please lmk.

I never owned a gen 1 Saturn with a sunroof but I do not believe they had shades.

ABS light coming on after 5 minutes sounds like one of the wheel speed sensors may have a bunch of crap stuck to it. They are magnetic, and a car that old no doubt has picked up all kinds of metal crap which weekends the actual signal picked up from the tone ring on the axle. I would clean all four. You only need remove the tires to access them. They are the only device with wires going to them down at the hub.

Odometer not working is exceptionally common. You can buy a repair kit that lets you replace I believe the gear most of the right which is known to break. You have to open the odometer to do it but it is perfectly legal. Many have done said repair.

If the owner did not disclose this kind of stuff before you purchased it, I would tell you to watch the oil level very carefully as in several times in the first few weeks as these cars tend to consume oil as they age. I would also look up on the Internet how to clean the drains from your sunroof. They are notorious for clogging and ruining either the headliner or leaking onto the carpet inside the passenger or drivers footwell.

If you go to fix the speedometer, I would replace all the bulbs in the dash cluster as you will never want to be in there again.

I don't suppose the seller informed you as to whether or not they have ever replaced the shifter cable bushing? How many miles are on the vehicle?
