Hi my name is Eric I live in St.Joseph Missouri I have a 1995 Saturn SL1. In November 08 the head cracked on my car at only 88,000 miles and it dumped oil in the cooling system but there was no water in the oil. I just got a new head on but I am haveing a few problems. How can I get the oil out of the cooling system? I have drained it several times and it has got better but still oil in the system and how do you know for sure you don''t vapor lock the system is there a trick to it ?
The car also seems to be idleing high around 1200rpms and won''t idle down and it didn''t do that before.
I would appericiate any help I can get......Eric

Get yourself an engine cooling flush kit (autozone, napa, advanced, ect...) Flush the motor a couple of times. Try that and see if it helps. As for the motor idleing high that could be a lot of things. Make sure you have all your vacume lines hooked up and in the right locations.
