Hi all, I'm new here and just bought a 2002 SL1. The car was owned by an old lady and only has 48k miles on it, looks brand new, everything works great, and its rides very nice. Just looking for any advise that I may need to be aware of for a new Saturn owner. I just found out that the car is plastic, is the whole car plastic? The only mod I wanna do now is to add some stock fog lamps. I can get the here local for $30 each, does anyone know if the wiring is there for the lamps? or would I need to buy a wiring kit? Thanks for any advise!!

I'm new here to so welcome! I don't know to much about your car but I did find a video that may help you. It's for a SL2 but hooking it up should all be pretty similar. As for the whole car being plastic... no the hood and roof are metal and very top of the truck if I'm not mistaken ( if you tap on the body you can hear the diff in the metal parts and plastic parts). I hope this helps you in any way

Welcome to the forum. As far as your car being plastic goes, don't worry too much about that. Saturns have a very good rating in crash tests.

Welcome

Fog wiring is NOT there. If it is, some collision repair has been done on the cheap.
