I have a 1998 SL2 which I just purchased and the previous owner was a smoker and not very fussy with the interior, mostly the carpet in the from, driver and passenger side.
I have looked on many online sites for molded carpet for my car but, they only seam to have 1991 - 1996, would one of these fit in a 98?. Also is there a place I can find the carpet color code on the car? I found the paint code on the spare tire cover WA260b, that''s another thing that is not found in your neighborhood autoparts store.

Yes 1991-1996 sedan/wagon carpet will fit in your 1998 SL2.
