Hi I have a 97 SL2 and it has some front end damage to it which will require me to replace the hood, front passenger light assembly, and front bumper and I want to know if I will be able to find everything needed for the repairs at a junk yard or should I buy some brand new parts from the auto store and if anyone knows a place in jersey that is cheap as junk yard prices go please tell me.. thanks<!--

Parts are plentiful in junk yards, I believe the 96-99 parts are interchangable. I repaired a 98 SL2 rear passenger clip (rear pass. door, Inner/Outer Fender assy, and rear tail light) for under $99.00.
Shop around the junk yards and try to find the correct color.

yea that is pretty cheap cause my biggest concern is the hood trying to find that in the right color if i go with looking for it in the junk yard cause i have a gold 97 sl2

 

Yea I understand, my son is running around with Silver replacement parts on a Black car.
There is always paint.

 

Keep in mind that SL. SL1, SW1 and SW2 parts are the same. You would just need a SL2 or SW2 bumper because they are fully painted. Luckily gold was a popular color.

 

yea the gold color for that car i see everywhere on the road so hopefully i come across a couple of them
