I bought a 93 SL2 DOHC towards the end of January ''''08 with 200,409 mi. on the odometer. It ran like a champ! I slowly started modifying the engine for greater MPG performanceand was soon getting 35-38 mpg [and a great amount of HP and acceleration to boot ]But it seems I may have pushed it too hard foras of July 6 (2 days after my b-day)I have a hole in my engine that i could stick a softball in, lol.But that wasn''t untilit had 232,000 mi. on it! Not bad for a $500 car. Soooo.... anybody know of a good deal on an engine? Or should i just find another car?Edited by: Nekroman
