Hi I have a 96 sc 1 and well.. my engine light has been going on and off for months now. and well. no one could tell me at them auto stores what the codes meant. one day on my way to work it just died had no gas pedal so i am thinking the fuel pump is gone. towed it home darn thing started up well took to one shop they never got around to looking at it. the second shop looked at it took them a big machine they said to decide that it was an ignition control module. now if this is going bad or is bad would you be able to restart the car and drive it for a short distance or not?

HELP PLEASE.

mine is doing the exact same thing right now, and i have no clue what the problem is. i've changed the coolant temp. sensor and crank sensor. same problem. the ignition control module is probably the next thing i'll be changing. but right now, my car is definitely staying put until it's fixed, i don't want a big tow bill, again.
