Hey guys,

So, I drove to work yesterday morning, all is well. On the way back however, things were goofy. Every time I put in the clutch to stop, I would stall. If I let off the gas too long, whether in neutral w/e, I would stall. So I was going down the freeway at 75mph and stalling if I had to brake at all (first time I cursed at someone cutting me off...out loud)

So I do my little share of reading and decide for myself its the egr valve. Go to autozone grab one for $90, and I am good to go. The guys there didn''''t think that was the problem, but I was willing to try. As I am getting ready to leave, the engine light comes on. I have the guys check it, egr valve voltage, positiong sensor...etc errors.

I get home and get ready to put the new one in when I realize why the errors came up. When I was looking at the egr valve earlier, I unplugged it, and forgot to plug it back in. I am almost a pro! I shrug it off and decide to put the new one in anyways. Then I realize I need a deep socket.

So I drive back to autozone, the engine light is now off, and I don''''t stall. I am getting REALLY close every time, but not stalling. Everytime I put in the clutch my car dims, and I lose power steering for just a second, then it recovers.

Last night when it was stalling, I bought some octane boost for my tank, and it seems that stuff has kept me from stalling, but I am still getting close everytime. Sorry if you guys don''''t like the long posts, I tried to be a little entertaining....

Thanks!

If anyone had the same problem, it really way the EGR valve. The engine light finally came on, with it plugged in.

Was about $90, and 10 mins.
