I've lost a block of power functions in my 1997 SL2. Things that don't function: power windows, roof, traction control, daytime running lights won't work, AC is out I think, the service wrench light comes on, and the ABS brake light comes on.

For a while these features would "come on" again if I turned the car off an on a few times, but now they seem to be out for good.

I looked at the block of fuses, and noticed that all of these features have fuses in the same area. I checked the fuses but they all were good. Is there a relay or some sort of circuit breaker / fuseable link I'm missing?

Thanks for any help at all, the Saturn book I bought isn't very helpful with this.

No, saturn books arn't very helpful at all, I'm trying to take my door pannel off because i put my fist through the window (highly regret it due to the glass in my hand) and i purchesed one from the auto recker and can't figur out how to put it in. anyways, did you check the battery connection? Is the alternater running to date? and see if your ground strap on the batter is corroded. That's all i can offer, sorry if it diden't help.

I'm not much for electrical, but i'd place my bet on a faulty relay. On the older Saturns the relays are under the hood (& near the battery). One is for the fan, one is for A/C, etc, etc, etc. Can't remember, but it might tell u right on the cover which relay is for which system.if it's the relaysit's an easy fix

Thanks. I was hoping it might be a relay. Wish there was a way to test them.
