Rust repair on a car that old will cost much more than the car is worth. If you're a DIY type person, the thing to do would be find one here in the South that's crapped out and swap all of your stuff over to it.

My husband does body work. You might be surprised that a small local guy could do it fairly cheap.

It has crossed my mind, but since I live in the NE the entire subframe is very rusty and it’s time to enjoy her last year with me. This car has been very reliable, and I have treated it gently (204K on original clutch!) but not realistic to fix it. My hope is that it goes to a Saturn lover who can use its parts.

Sell it whole while it is running and ask under market value Blue book value local value. Once you start parting it, you are committed to that.

Selling it to a person as a complete running vehicle let's them do whatever they want with it. And you are free of it all.
