TO All Help!


I own a 2000 Saturn SL2 that I left in storage for the winter. Long story short, the battery was dying, went to start up the car (After jumping it)and it would shift into gear, but would Not go into gear. To make my life more interesting there was transmission fluid in a puddle under the car.


Called Saturn and they said they would look at it. Small prob I live out in BFE 3 hours from the nearest Saturn dealer in Grand Forks MN or Fargo.


So I put in a new battery and checked the transmission fluid, started it up and it goes into gear? WTF? Now I have heard that there is an anti-theft code, and once you pull the battery the car wont roll?


Does anyone know if I will be able to run the car? Will there be anymore damages?


Did I mention help already?

Three hours away, huh? Sounds like the problem we face here on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi - the nearest Saturn dealer in the state is located in Jackson, Mississippi, about 180 miles distant.


Before someone jumps on my back, and reminds me of the dealer in the New Orleans area, I know they are there, butthat dealership spendsa lot of time underwater, which makes them hard to visit ...
