My egr valve is apparently sticking again. I thought that I read
somewhere on here that there is a way to clean it out and make it work
again. I have a '92 SOHC SL

Thanks

I got an engine code claiming mulitple random misfires (the first time, then cleared the code) then i got cyliner 4 misfire, and egr malfunction. I took the airfilter off and it ran better so i cleaned it now the car works great. Previously it was bogging down when i hit the gas, lost all power and acceleration.

Pull the two bolts, look down the air by-pass ports, scrape out the carbon, check the plunger for a good seal and free movement. Your done.
