ok here''s the thing. I''m finally going to do an engine swap. I need to know everything i need to do and every part i have to have. I''m new at cars but my dad isn''t So we have everything we need to do it at our home.I just need to know what i need. Any help is much appreciated.

 

ok 1998 sl1 i have the same thing and planning on dohc swap from what i understand you need complete dohc head( engine blocks are the same between sl1 and sl2) sl2/sc2 pcm you dont need to swap transmissions if you dont want to unless its an automatic i think thats it really try sps.com and talk to the dealer if its a manual transmission you do NOT have to swap the dealer will probably tell you that you have to when i said complete head i mean everything(throttle body, inake manifold, exhaust manfold, everything the things you can go without if you want to are a/c and power steering)
