I have a 2000 sl2 and keep getting a code of small emissions leak. I changed my gas cap and the code comes on every once in a while then goes away. I have replaced my temp coolant sensor and then my throttle postion sensor and car started running really smooth and then this started happening. My mechanic said I need to change my knock sensor, but would this cause emissions leak. I am lost please help car idles fine, i am lost let me know if anybody can help. Does it come on right after you fill the gas tank? It could be that you are
overfilling it, going past the first click.

 

Are you sure its a P0104? Thats not listed in the service manuals.

A generic search on google comes up with a P0104 as a MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor problem. Saturn S-Series dont have a MAF sensor.

 

The correct code is po442 it justs say small emission leak.Edited by: saturnpower
