I have a 99 Saturn SL2, and some jerk decided to break into it last night and steal my Kenwood stereo. They broke the driver's side window! My brother is going to fix it for me, I was just wondering if anyone has any input on doing that? Hes good with cars, he just wants to know anything anyone might have to offer...

Sorry to hear about your stereo. I had to work on my son's window motor on his drivers door, was not real hard.1) Remove the Inside panel (few screws by the handle and clips around the perimeter).2) Remove the Outside panel (careful not to bend the weather strip on the top of the door, tork head screws around the perimeter)3) Remove the clear plastic weather shield.4) Vacuum out all the glass.5) Remove window from rail.6) Since you're in there check to make sure the motor mounting bolts are tight (if you have power windows), and lube up the mechanical gear system.7) Verify correct operation of the new window before reassembling.Good Luck.
