Does anyone know where you can obtain a diagram for a 1996 Saturn SL2, that shows where all the parts are located on the car?

If you go to Auto Zone or Advance Auto Parts and ask for a Haynes Manual for your car. Theyre about twenty bucks but they tell you almost everything you would ever need to know about your car. I have one for the same car as you and its a godsend.
