Can anybody give me the actual part name or number for the black plastic plugs in the fog light holes when there's no fog lights installed at the factory level? Lost one and need to look on Ebay, but don't know what to search for...

is it round and does it have a hatched pattern on the front with a mounting tab on the top?

 

About 4" round black plastic, with raised lines going across (i think)...i will post a pic of the one i do have that's still on the car this afternoon...

 

it's listed as "Lamp ASM-FRT FOG" in the collision repair manual. So is the actual foglight so that creates problems. It's really just a cover as we both know.

Problem is there are no mfr's part numbers, only numbered exploded diagrams of the cars. You could try a gm dealership and have them pull up an exploded diagram of the front exterior lamps--96-99 sedan and wagon and then get a [art number from them.

Personally I'd ask rube to scout the junkyard on his next trip or visit one on your own--prob a good chance of finding one there

 

After getting screwed over by Ocean Archer, I won't be getting parts for anyone anymore unless I get paid upfront. Of course, there are a couple of you guys that are exceptions to this as we've done business before and you guys are men of your word, as am I. All others will pay first.

 

Yeah, the more I look this scenario over the more I feel like I need to make some free time to go scout a couple of junk yards...don't even know where any are around Modesto or Manteca, just moved out here end of last year...
