Default 98 sl2 key stuck!

Read around quite a few posts. Mine if them are working. My key is stuck in my ignition in the push. I cannot remove it or turn it. The wheel wasn't locked but now is. Wiggling and juggling everything. Trying it in gear. Clutch brake. Nothing is getting the key to turn or come out. Been at it for over 2 hours. It is a manual. Any other ideas how to get this thing running?

Please proof read your first sentence, I don't understand it beyond that the key is stuck. What does in the push mean?

Jack up both front wheels and put them on jack stands so the wheels are hanging loose and try turning the steering wheel and wiggling the key.

I have notice on mine that that it seems to want me to push in towards the center of the steering column on the key as I turn it.
It is and always has been fussy about wanting to be in Park or neutral (automatic transmission and a 1994) so wiggling the steering wheel might help just a bit, but when it is stuck, it is because I tried turning it and removing it with out pushing it in towards the center OR the battery was dead and I have no clue why that has any bearing on anything.
If and when you get it out, you might try a bit of powder graphite in trying to get some in the key cylinder and some sort of oil that has a pressure spray can like WD40
