</>I'm trying to find the CPS on my 96 SL2. I see two sensors by the oil filter that are slightly slanted downward, one has approx a 14-15 mm head on it and the other is round. Neither look like the one that's in the box. Is this sensor possibly hiding behind the starter? Edited by: mbolena

Never mind, I found it. When you drop the starter it's right there, easy job except for getting that second starter bolt back in!

Replace the two starter bolts with studs. I use the same ones as on the intake/exhaust manifold. Makes reinstallation of te starter a snap.
