My '96 SL1 has an idle issue maybe one of you have seen before and can help me with. When warm, it idles right at 750 RPM, like at a light or stop sign. Sometimes, it'll flucuate up or down 50 RPM's and then stall. I can restart it, but it takes longer than if I was starting it cold. Any ideas here?? Could it be the idle air control valve??

Thanks!!

hey i got the Sl2 running you might want to take your Idle air control valve
off and clean it out with soon carb cleaner or something of that nature. Also
check for vacuum leks. if that doesn't work do the same thing to the egr
valve and install a new gasket. That should work for you.

I have a 96 sl1 also, im almost possitive it hase nothing to do with the air, plus that gets expensive. Try the FUEL FLITER. it runs about $30at kragen. i guarentee you have never changed it, and considering it is a 96' it has been a long time. Try it out let me know,
