2001 saturn sl1 sohc perfomance or swap
I am curious i'm kinda new to the auto world but I love my 2001 saturn
sl1 now I have searched looking around for performance parts such as
intakes and exhaust but nothing really is coming up, I'm wondering is
it worth to reaplace that motor with a dohc motor with around the same
mileage and my sohc has about 23,500 miles on it, any help on this
topic would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks Sl1fan

yeah i know this topic is old but if it means anything i know a guy with a souped up sl1 sohc and hes dropped four g''s in his car in performance and looks(mostly looks) and mines just had the head shaved and a top end rebuild, and i stomp him every time, especially around corners(for some reason sl2''s take corners, must be that stock sway bar). bottom line.......Do the SWAP.
