I have a 2000 SL2 with the 1.9l SOHC engine, 4 speed auto and was wondering since my transmission wont go into reverse anymore and it skips 2nd gear sometimes if this transmission can take its place:

Would I need to replace both my engine and transmission or would the transmission work with my engine? I only have 105k on my engine so the other one would be more used.....

 

NO you CAN NOT use that engine or transmission in a S-Car
