2000 SL2 Transmission Question
 

I have a 2000 SL2 with the 1.9l SOHC engine, 4 speed auto and was wondering since my transmission wont go into reverse anymore and it skips 2nd gear sometimes if this transmission can take its place:

Would I need to replace both my engine and transmission or would the transmission work with my engine? I only have 105k on my engine so the other one would be more used.....

NO you CAN NOT use that engine or transmission in a S-Car

Will either of these work? I would also like to know if the price is a good price or if I should try and negotiate? How much should I be looking to spend with the parts and labor?
