Make sure the shifter is pushed as close towards the radio as it can. My 99 sl2 sometimes gets the stuck key problem also. As for it not starting whats the issue there?

Try to put the shifter in drive then back into park. Make sure the shifter is all the way towards the radio push on it a little while trying to remove the key.

I'm not sure about that. I would contact your local dealership for that info.
