1998 sl cd changer

my 98sl came with a pioneer cdx-fm623s in the trunk and a remote up front.
i pushed the eject button in the truck but the cd cartridge does not come out.
anyone know what to do

i don't believe that was stock.....i'd try a pioneer website for a troubleshooting guide....
