Default 1996 sl2 no start no lights

Quick question:

1. Where is the main fuse located?

Details:

I try to start my car after being gone 14 days and i get no startup and not even any lights or anything come on or radio or anything it just acts like it's not even recognizing the key in the ignition or when I turn it. We just got a new battery 1 month ago and it has been running fine since then. I did take out the power locks fuse because they were clicking all the time. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. Even when I try to jump off the car it still doesn't have any lights or anything come on. There has been a service engine light that comes on every once in a while but it seems to come and go.

I'm thinking maybe it's the main fuse but I can't seem to locate it in the passenger side fuse box or the under the hood fuse box. I seem to be able to find everything else.

There is no main fuse. You have either a dead battery or a bad battery connection. Test the battery and clean the battery connections. As far as the door locks clicking, thats a switch gone bad. You can tell which switch is bad by feel. The bad one won't want to return to the neutral position. Good luck

First: Tighten your battery cables

Check battery cables, positive like to corrode caused by your old leaking battery. Replace cable if needed, get it from your Saturn Parts Counter.
