Default 1995 Saturn SL2

My engine has seized and I am looking to rebuild/replace it. I have looked in local yards but found a lot of SOHC engines and places who do not offer very good warranties. I do not want to end up where I am currently a few weeks down the road.

Will any other year motor work with this vehicle?
Will any other manufacturer have a motor that can be EASILY swapped into this vehicle? (I know engine swaps are not necessarily an easy thing, but I mean as long as it does not involve intense welding or anything I am willing to try it)

I just want to have this car running as a daily driver and ready for winter next year. I am working on a Camaro that I would prefer to concentrate on after this is settled.

Sorry if this is a redundant topic, I am a new poster here.
