Well, hopefully you oil has already been changed forty times, the transmission fluid four times, the spark plugs four times, the fuel filter at least once, the O2 sensor at least once as well as the ECTS.

If you want the car to live ......... do what the little book in the glovebox says to do. Me, I use MOBIL-1 but as long as you use a HIGH grade oil and change it at 3k your oild should be ok. Not changing the oil every 3k or over heating the 1.9L is not a good thing.

Trans fluid is the same any name brand DEXRON IIIEdited by: sw2cam

BloodyBrit ...

If you are really concerned about your vehicle, you might swing by the local Saturn dealership, and have them run the VIN in their system and get a service readout on the car. Might not catch it all, if the previous owner went for service other than at the dealer, but it could give you important information ...
