I own a 2002 SL1, for almost 2 years now, and had a problem I''ve never had before. My car was sitting out in some decent rain the other night, and there was noticeable wetness on the drivers side floor. Upon closer inspection, it was apparent that the water had come down from behind the dashboard. When I finally got a decent view, I could see daylight, and a clear access for rain to get in. If fell through the slotted vents (covered in mesh/screens) on the panel that the wipers are mounted on.
Again, never had this problem before, just seems like those vents aren''t supposed to drain into the cabin. Is something missing, am I missing something, or is this normal?
